Description

The purchase of Thomas-Wimmer-Ring 1 / 1A took place in 2018 in collaboration with a Munich-based family office.  In the first quarter of 2023, Optima, together with its  subsidiary Tristone Real Estate GmbH, initiated the repositioning of the landmark property at Isartor.
Under the ‘Freddie’ brand, a nod to the days of Freddie Mercury in the Glockenbach district, the property was refurbished and successfully repositioned. 80s charm on the outside – ultra-modern office spaces on the inside. This enabled the property to be fully let at short notice.

New tenants are quickly found to fill any temporary vacancies, such as the management consultancy plenum AG, which will move in in autumn 2026.

Almost a tradition in its own right, there has been a retail space in ‘Freddie’ for over 15 years, which now operates under the Munich Boutique Duty Free label, offering kitchenware, health and beauty products, among other things.

Situated directly on the Altstadtring and with access to the “Isartor” S-Bahn station right outside the property, “Freddie” enjoys excellent transport links.
