Nymphenburger Höfe – NY Office I und NY Office II

The words NYMPHENBURGER HÖFE refer to the major project that has turned the city centre site of the former Löwenbräu bottling plant into a new neighbourhood for around 2000 people.

Around 30,000 sqm of high-quality offices have been created in NYMPHENBURGER HÖFE. The tenants include CMS, one of the largest legal practices in Germany, Deloitte, DTZ, Colliers, Mohren & Partner, Terradata and Edeka.

The urban development and architectural realisation of the Optima buildings is based on the plans of the well-known architectural practice Steidle & Partner, which won the urban development design competition for this sensitive location.

Location

From Löwenbräu site to Nympenburger Höfe
The following series of images shows how Nympenburger Höfe came into being from the bottling halls of the Löwenbräu brewery. The demolition of the original buildings in 2007, the excavation of the pit and the execution of the foundation work took more than 12 months.

More than 5 years of construction time, divided into three phases, were invested in the project. Below is a brief "demolition in pictures", which gives an impression of the almost 23,000 sqm building site.
