Since the very beginning, we have photographically accompanied the construction process of transforming the former Berlin decoration workshops into a unique and luxurious residential complex. Description
The Optima Aegidius Group purchased the site from Liegenschaftsfonds Berlin in Q1/Q2 2011.
Concept
TThe listed historic brick complex from the turn of the last century was once used as a industrial laundry, button factory and lithographic printing house.
Architecture
The architect is Ingo Pott who has already accompanied the reorganization of the Reichstag under the direction of Sir Norman Foster and who is co-founder of the Fotografie Museum c / o Berlin.

The residential ensemble Opernlofts, with its approx. 36 residential units, was successfully completed in August / September.
Most of the apartments are upholstered and the unique object is filled with life more and more.

Location
The Opernlofts are located at Zehdenickerstrasse in Berlin Mitte, a stone's throw away from the Weinbergpark.
Project development
Before the redevelopment, since 1947, the industrial monument was home to the “Komische Oper Berlin”, which used the property as a workshop, rehearsal stage and prop.
Around 40 loft apartments with 6,000 sqm GFA have been created.
In addition to classic lofts with spacious rooms, by mid-2014 family-friendly townhouses and spacious penthouses with breathtaking views of the entire federal capital have been completed.
