Optima leases to Hammerla
The former Diamalt site, with loft spaces rarely found in Munich, is gradually filling up. With the signing of another lease agreement, the occupancy rate of the approximately 4,500 square metre office loft space in the ‘The MALT’ project has increased to 70%. ‘Further concrete negotiations regarding the remaining vacant space on the upper floors of the building are also progressing very promisingly,’ say Petra Seifert and Nina Scherer, project managers at the Optima-Aegidius Group for ‘The MALT’.
In addition to the already known tenants, the flex office provider 1000 Satellites and the training company mst Group GmbH, the renowned second-generation property management company Hammerla Immobilien GmbH will now also be among the tenants at ‘The MALT’. Combine Transaction München GmbH initiated and accompanied the conclusion of the deal for just under 300 square metres under the leadership of Michael Wittmann.
Hammerla will move in at the beginning of next year.
Rental prices at The MALT are settling at just under €25 per square metre.
‘We are seeing a significant upturn in the rental market in Munich, with rents reflecting the quality of the properties. The future of successful letting lies in more efficient spaces that command a higher price,’ say Dres. Laub, members of the board of the Optima-Aegidius group of companies.
