Padel City GmbH, hansetherm, 1000 Satellites

The Optima-Aegidius Group is making great strides with its diversification strategy.  In addition to their stake in flexworking operator 1000 Satellites and hansetherm, the popular heat pump supplier, the Dres. Laub brothers have invested in Padel City GmbH as part of a financing round.

Padel is the leading trend sport in Southern and Northern Europe, which is also experiencing rapid growth in Germany. The founding investors of Padel City GmbH include none other than Bob Dekeyser, owner of Dedon, and Hansi Flick, coach of FC Barcelona.

The Dres. Laub brothers have now invested around €15 million in start-ups, innovation funds and proptechs. The volume is to be expanded to €30 million in the coming years.
