The building that was formerly the administrative building of Barmer Ersatzkasse was purchased in 2004 and renovated between 2005 and 2007. The view over the old town, the short distances to the Viktualienmarkt (food market) and the Schrannenhalle (market hall), as well as the excellent public transport links, have given rise to a first-class office building here.
