New Eastside Munich
Factory Loft Office
In the middle of Munich's East, unique loft areas are being created - with New York spirit - for state-of-the-art working environments.
The "New Eastside Munich - Factory Loft" on the Neumarkter Straße is located in Berg-am-Laim in the immediate vicinity of the “Werksviertel” and a stone's throw away from the old Munich flair in Haidhausen. Together with other innovative projects, the "New Eastside Munich - Factory Loft" contributes to the revitalization in the east of Munich. The district is already characterized today by a unique mix of residential and "light industrial" spaces as well as a local artist scene and is one of the most up-and-coming urban quarters of the future.
In addition to excellent transport links with a walking distance to the S-Bahn station “Leuchtenbergring”, the district benefits of its proximity to the city center, to the Mittlerer Ring as well as to the vibrant Munich East. In the immediate vicinity there are bars & restaurants, childcare facilities, sports and cultural facilities.
In the spring of 2016 Optima acquired the former company headquarters HAWE Hydraulik SE.
In joint venture with Competo the former factory buildings will be completely demolished. The new building will be based on the architecture of the industrial era and resume the shed roof of the existing building as well as the stylistic elements of New York's "cast iron buildings".
